The opening and closing of the biggest fashion shows are now mostly led by stunning black models who promote and display fashion clothing, with a stunning pose for fashion photography. So here we go on some stunning black models you need to know:

Anok Yai in 2018 was the black model to open a Prada show for the first time in 20 years after Naomi Campbell. Yai is a student at Plymouth State University studying Biochemistry. she gained popularity when a photographer posted a photo of her at Howard University's 2017 Homecoming Yardfest on Instagram and she went viral. After that, she signed to Next Models and her career bloomed.

Naomi Chin Wing a Trinidadian model has taken her elegant strut across the catwalks of Dior, Givenchy, and Valentino since walking her very first show for Saint Laurent in 2017.

Winnie Harlow a Canadian model with skin depigmentation became incredibly popular after hitting the American Top Model show. She is currently the face of Spanish casual brand Desigual and advertises bright wears of crazy styles and colors.

Precious Lee is the first black plus-size model to appear in Vogue and she slays every minute of every day. She's also been the face of Lane Bryant and walked at Christian Siriano shows.

Maria Borges is known for her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway walk and being the first Black woman to hit that runway with her natural hair on full display in 2015. 

Nyakim Gatwetch is a famous black female model who started as an Instagram black models and later gains popularity throughout the world. she recently shot a lipstick campaign with the beauty brand juvia's place and also modeled in New York Fashion Week for the brand Flying Solo.

Duckie Thot is the melanin queen who people consider to be a real-life Barbie doll and she is slaying the fashion industry one photo and runway walk at a time.

Adut Akech at age 12 started her modeling career for the first by participating in a small fashion show organized by her aunt. She went on to conquer a serious modeling business and at age 16, Akech was already on the runway at the Paris Fashion Week in the Saint Laurent show. Since then, the young model has been snapped up. She became Model of the Year 2018 (Industry’s Vote) according to Models.com and has worked with Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Tom Ford, Calvin Klein, and Versace.

Licett Morillo Montero the first woman of color to close a Prada show in Fall of 2018.  Her look is what brought her to the catwalks of Valentino and Saint Laurent.

Zoe Thaets made her first show for Schiaparelli in 2018 and since then she has been since across many catwalks including Dior, Marc Jacobs, and Michael Kors.
