LINGERIE – Not Just Panties And Bras


“Lingerie is the maximum expression of a woman’s femininity” says Dolce&Gabbana. A woman’s wardrobe is never complete without a good and best fitting lingerie because what lies beneath is just as important as what you show to the world. Lingerie is made of decorative fabrics such as silk, satin, chiffon, lycra or lace. Good lingerie makes you feel better about yourself and so do I each time I'm on my best lingerie and I believe you too do!

So let's explore the world of lingerie – not just panties and bras.

Types of Lingerie

Bras
A bra is an undergarment worn by women to support the breasts. It helps in keeping the boobs firms, stop them from sagging and gives them a pleasant look! *wink*. You can get all these as long as you wear the right size of bra for your boobs. This is what makes femininity awesome. There are different types of bra with unique fabrics, colors and styles, examples strapless bra, push-up bra and many more.

Panties
Get your panties according to the colors (especially black and nude), sizes and styles you so desire to fit any occasion or event, give you the comfort you need, and also keep the panty lines at bay.

Shapewear
Shapewear is a tight-fitting underwear intended to shape and accentuate your figure. What every woman want! It comes in different types and for different purposes e.gs body briefs, waist cincher, etc. It does not make you look slim but more shapely - No more belly bulge!  It smoothes and tucks where you most need it so ensure to get the best quality.

Bralette
A bralette (commonly known as bra top) is a type of bra that can double up as a top and is often worn for style and comfort. It does not have any wires or molded cups. It has thin, delicate straps.

Camisole
A camisole is a lingerie tank top covering the upper part of the body typically held up by spaghetti straps. They are made up of light materials and must be rightly selected to suit your outfit.

Teddy/Body Suit
A teddy is a one-piece undergarment also known as a bodysuit. It is the combination of a camisole and panties. The teddy which has a swimsuit style covers the torso and crotch area and it helps to get rid of panty lines.

Corset
It is a tightly fitting undergarment worn to shape the figure. It is known for its slimming power, thereby giving one a curvaceous figure (figure 8). Cool!

Bustier
A fitting garment that push up the breast and sharpens your waist.


Thong
Do you hate those visible panty lines? Then a thong can help you get rid of it. A thong is made up of a fabric covering the crotch area with a small strip that passes between the buttocks and is attached to a band around the waist. It is generally worn as either underwear or swimsuit. It is skimpy and sexy and popular wear for every bride on wedding nights – you know what that implies *wink*. The G-string and the C-string are two types of thongs.

Chemise and A Babydoll
A chemise and a babydoll are lingerie dresses. A chemise is a short slip dress worn under a dress while a babydoll is worn as a nightgown. Chemise is fitted closely around the hips while a babydoll is completely free.

Robe
A robe is a long, loose-fitting outer garment with the length ranging from the mid-thigh to the ankle, with an attached fabric belt to tie-up in front. It makes a woman feel like a diva Wow!!

Pantyhose
Pantyhose are extremely thin and close-fitting legwear covering the body from the waist to the toes. It gives a unique look to your outfit without fears of adjusting your underwears.

Others include: a romper, garter, garter belt, and stockings.
